Sip #1: The Classic Pumpkin Spice Latte (With a Twist!)

There’s something about the first sip of pumpkin spice that makes fall feel official. The air is crisper, the leaves crunch underfoot, and suddenly, a warm mug becomes the coziest accessory of the season.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte has become a fall icon for good reason: it blends the comforting sweetness of pumpkin with the warmth of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla. But when you make it at home — with quality coffee and your own twist — it becomes something even more special.

✨ Why Make It at Home?

  • Control the sweetness → Skip the overly sugary syrups.

  • Use quality coffee → The flavour shines through.

  • Add your own twist → Make it yours with a drizzle, a sprinkle, or a swirl.

☕ Pumpkin Spice Latte (with a Twist!)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee (or 1–2 shots espresso)

  • 2 tbsp pumpkin purée

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)

  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves)

  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)

  • Whipped cream (optional, but highly encouraged)

  • Drizzle of salted caramel or sprinkle of cocoa (your twist)

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, warm the milk, pumpkin purée, maple syrup, and pumpkin spice together until hot but not boiling.

  2. Whisk or froth until smooth and slightly foamy.

  3. Pour freshly brewed coffee into your favorite mug.

  4. Top with the pumpkin-spiced milk mixture.

  5. Add whipped cream, then finish with your twist: a drizzle of salted caramel, a dusting of cocoa, or even a cinnamon stick for stirring.

🍂 Cozy Tip:

Pair your latte with a soft blanket, a good book, or a fall playlist for the ultimate seasonal ritual.

First things first...the aroma of your coffee beans grinding was amazing...then my fist sip. Outstanding! Call me converted to griding my own beans! We tried the Hawaiian and the Dark Roast, and we can't thank you enough for you knowledge and recommendations!

My wife and I fell in love with your S’more coffee this summer at the Goderich Farmer’s Market! I’ll take whatever you have left of your supply, that’s how much my wife and I love it.

Love at first sip ☕️

Found WCCC on our trip to Kincardine last year at a summer market! It was love at first sip! We stopped to pickup more before leaving for home and I’ve been ordering online ever since. Salted caramel is #1 and the other varieties are wonderful as well.

Sarah’s coffee is delicious! Two flavours you definitely have to try are Brandied Egg Nog and Gingerbread Biscotti. We can’t wait to purchase some other flavours!
