Sip #10: Peppermint Mocha Frappe

Cool, Creamy, and Festive — A Refreshing Fall Favourite

As autumn begins to tiptoe toward the holiday season, there’s a special kind of magic in the air — the sparkle of frosty mornings, the scent of cocoa and peppermint, and the cozy anticipation of what’s to come. The Peppermint Mocha Frappe is the perfect bridge between fall and winter — cool, creamy, and delightfully refreshing, yet still full of that comforting coffee warmth we crave this time of year.

It’s the ideal afternoon pick-me-up for those warmer fall days when you’re not quite ready to let go of iced drinks, but you still want a hint of festive flavor in every sip.

Recipe

To create this frosty delight, you’ll need:

  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled: Choose a smooth, balanced roast to complement the sweetness of the mocha and peppermint. Let it chill for at least 10–15 minutes before blending.

  • ½ cup milk: Any milk works beautifully here — dairy adds creaminess, while oat or almond milk brings a subtle nutty undertone.

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder: The foundation of your mocha flavor — rich, chocolatey, and perfectly indulgent.

  • ½ tsp peppermint extract: A little goes a long way! It adds that crisp, refreshing twist that makes every sip feel festive.

  • Ice cubes: Enough to give your frappe that irresistible frothy, frozen texture.

How to Make It:

  1. Combine cooled coffee, milk, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and ice in a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and frothy.

  3. Swirl chocolate sauce inside your glass before pouring to add a café-style touch.

  4. Optional: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed candy cane for extra holiday cheer.

Cozy Tip: Want to take it up a notch? Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup or a spoonful of peppermint whipped cream for a festive twist. This frappe is perfect for sipping on a sunny fall afternoon while planning your holiday to-do list or watching the leaves dance outside.

Your Perfect Base: Our Frosty Favourite Blend makes this drink shine. With its smooth flavor and gentle sweetness, it pairs perfectly with chocolate and peppermint — creating a balanced, refreshing treat that tastes like the start of the holiday season.

The Peppermint Mocha Frappe is a little taste of winter wonder, wrapped in fall’s warmth. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the changing seasons — a sip that’s both nostalgic and refreshing. So grab your blender, your favorite mug, and let this frosty creation bring a touch of joy to your autumn afternoons.

First things first...the aroma of your coffee beans grinding was amazing...then my fist sip. Outstanding! Call me converted to griding my own beans! We tried the Hawaiian and the Dark Roast, and we can't thank you enough for you knowledge and recommendations!

Love at first sip ☕️

Found WCCC on our trip to Kincardine last year at a summer market! It was love at first sip! We stopped to pickup more before leaving for home and I’ve been ordering online ever since. Salted caramel is #1 and the other varieties are wonderful as well.

Sarah’s coffee is delicious! Two flavours you definitely have to try are Brandied Egg Nog and Gingerbread Biscotti. We can’t wait to purchase some other flavours!
